The main aim of organising this festival is to enhance inter-tribal interaction and also to showcase the culture of Nagaland. The festival is created by the State Tourism and Art and Cultural Department of Nagaland. This week long festival is filled with performances, food fairs, art and craft. Modern Naga artists display their painting and sculptures. The Naga troupes perform on folk dances especially put together for this festival.
