The first episode introduced five couples and the singles to the audience. Some couples have a way too dominant partner, while some have cheated on their partners. Most couples want to restore their relationship to what it was in the beginning and mend their major trust issues. Some of the couples want to learn how to make their long-distance relationships work. The single contestants are introduced to the pair. This twist of the introduction of singles in this show is to test the trustworthiness of the couples.

The first task is to 'switch the partners' to dance in pairs, which is only valid for girls. The next mission is to spin the 'wheel of attraction' just for the single contestants. They have to spin the wheel, and whatever option comes, they have to act upon it and impress their fellow contestants. Voting takes place where boys have to vote for the most attractive girl and vice versa. The next task involves some physical activities and games like bursting the balloon. The winning team was then selected, and the fastest couple was Laksh and Deepali.

The rest of the contestants decide which girl and boy will be eliminated. In the third task, the guys are allowed to swap their partners. They have to swim and collect some trinkets in pairs. This task leads the contestants to fight amongst themselves behind the cameras. The shuffling of partners takes place once again, but the newly-formed couples have to romance this time. This forms some misunderstandings between the pair, and both the Singles and couples end up fighting amongst themselves a lot.

There is a wild card entry of two single contestants and a couple in the tenth episode. In the twelfth episode, the couples pen their feelings down on their partners' paper. The girls and boys are divided and have a heart-to-heart conversation with Anusha and Karan.

All the episodes put the relationships of these couples through rigorous tests. The judges point out various mistakes of the pair and the newly made bonds between the love school students. Sakshi and Mohit break their relationship at the show's end as Sakshi chooses Aviral over Mohit. Mohit gets eliminated as he has no partner. The top three couples are put to the final test, and the winner of the third season of love school is Divya and Lalit.
