Sony entertainment television network broadcasted a show “Mr. and Ms. TV”, a Talent contest in March 2008. The show was the vital hunt for India's most brilliant and versatile TV personality. The contest had twelve famous celebrities from the television industry, mainly six female and six male, competing in various categories such as singing, dubbing, dancing, acting, etc. to gain the title of Mr. and Ms. Television. Very well-known faces of the Television industry became the part of this show that included
Priyanka Bassi, Nausheen Ali Sardar,
Swapnil Joshi, Manoj Bohra and Sanjit Bedi.

The show opened with the introduction of all the contestants with the help of an Audio-Visual on their lives and messages by their relatives, friends, and well-wishers. A series of Questions were asked from them and then once the participants were introduced, the judges made pairs with opposite genders.
The contestants together had to excel in the various tasks such as Dancing, Antakshri, Charades, Comedy, Mimicry, Singing, Voice over and many other that they might not even have done before. The tasks were very different and selective such as recreating a famous Bollywood scene, mimicking the famous TV icons and much more.
The judges evaluated the performances of all the pairs and gave them score after every such task. The contestants with the lowest total scores were then be eliminated from the competition in the form of a pair week after week until the top three were left to fight for the title of “Mr. And Ms. TV” that created tremendous suspense and craze among the viewers. Finally, Swapnil Joshi and Purbi Joshi won the contest with the highest score among all the other contestants with great enthusiasm and celebrations.
Jasveer Kaur and Karan Wahi were declared as the runner-up. Mr. & Ms. Television not only served the purpose of entertaining the viewers but also gave them the opportunity to get to know their all-time favourite stars in a close and personal manner; The show received a lot of appreciation and was well liked by the viewers as it also gave some of the greatest moments on the Indian television.
