Morning Shorties is a delight by SONY SAB and SONY PAL. As the name of the show suggests, it is telecasted in the channel early in the morning at around 7:30 am. The programme shows a short recap of all the shows that the channel telecasts, along with a couple of advertisements. The programme is not very popular among the people and does not have a fair share of audience as the telecast timings are a bit too early. it is the time when everyone prefers not to watch the television.

And even if they do switch on the TV, they end up surfing the News channel. Due to this reason, the show does not have a good TRP and just one star rating. Just like every coin has two sides, the programme also has some benefits. The working class of people, who don’t really have enough time to spend, watching television at night can get the daily dose of their favourite shows in a short amount of time in the morning itself, when they are at home.

KaTashan, Trideyian, etc, in order to promote the new shows inthe channel. Except these, it also gives a summary of other shows such as, Taarak Mehta KaOoltaChasma, ChidhiyaGhar, Badi Door Se Aaye Hain, etc.

The sequence and the time devoted per show varies with the masala and twists and turns that the story of the particular show is experiencing. It could act as asset to the viewers, who might have missed the telecast on the previous day as they may cover it in the morning itself. The show even acts as a boon to the channel as well, as it effectively helps the channel to cover up the gap in between the shows in the morning. Morning Shorties appears 3 times consecutively in the morning from 7:40 am to 8:30 am.
