The story of this show revolves around the complex friendship of an expat girl, Aleena, who is romantically involved with a man her father’s age, Mike, and a politician’s son, Adil, who is enforced to marry a child bride which gradually turns into love. Adal is a man who is in love with responsibilities.

Over time this character can be seen growing from a fun loving boy to an understanding husband, and to a man who has a bag of responsibilities over his shoulder. He is an active character. Since he has from a political background, he has his own views about politics. He thinks of working for the betterment of people which portrays him as a good man and a man of values. Aaleen is a beautifully written character. She transforms into an understanding wife from the confused doll.

As the story progresses, her character ultimately evolves to be a women driven by jealousy. Aaleen’s character too has many layers to it.Her character shows life as it truly is.Mike is a relatively weak character. He is portrayed as a player and a person who is not a good partner. He is an elderly man who claims to be in love with Aaleen. Suhaii is portrayed as Adal’s wife. Her character lacks depth and is very weak. Many other roles come as the story evolves. The story starts with the love story of Aaleen and Mike. They are in love, much to Aaleens parent’s chagrin. Her parents don’t like mike as he is an elderly man.

But, eventually Aaleen and Mike get married after putting a lot of efforts. After some time, Aaleen starts to push him for a divorce and soon it happens. She then meets Adal, a photographer. They eventually fall in love. Everything goes well for a while but then Adal plans a weeklong trip to Pakistan that changes everything. It is then revealed that Adal hails from a wealthy and strong political family. The story then swirls through a series of twists and turns.
