The Great Indian Laughter Challenge is a standup comedy show produced by Endemol India. The show has a total of 5 seasons, which consist of over 193 episodes. The first season aired on 3rd June 2005 and the last season was released on 30th December 2017. The show was telecasted on Star Plus and judged by Akshay Kumar. The show consists of a format in which various standup comedians have to perform and amuse the judges with their humor. The contestants are judged on their professional skills to make people laugh; based on this, a winner is decided. The winners of each season were as follows: Sunil Pal won the first season; Rauf Lala won the second season; Kapil Sharma emerged victorious in the third season; Suresh Albela clinched the fourth season; and Abhishek Walia triumphed in the final season. The show also includes celebrities like Akshay Kumar, Shreyas Talpade, and Sajid Khan.
