Fanta Fantastic Five was a show that was on air on MTV which is a channel owned by VIACOM 18. The show was introduced as a part of an effort to change MTV from being solely a music channel to a channel that aired original youth-centric content. The show aired at 7:40 PM from Monday to Friday, it was a part of the six new shows introduced by MTV. It was called Heaven @ 7. All the new shows were hosted by existing MTV VJs and four new VJs Anmol, Shambhavi, Jose and Deepti.

These new VJs were introduced to bring freshness to MTV's new look. Other shows introduced with Fanta Fantastic Five were DiscoverDiscover n Download, MTV Gtalk, Fabulous lives, Dance Crew, Garnier Star Scraps, Love Line Reloaded. The shows were made keeping youth in mind and mostly about gossip, romance, humor, celebrities, dance, music and more. The show was conceptualized and directed by Upasana Nattoji Roy.

The show was humour based where the hosts would play games with random people, solve problems of the youth and read E-mails sent by the fans of the show. The show had two main segments called Top five and Quick five. In Quick Five, the host (José or Ayushman) would go out in public and talk and play games like what's in my pocket with random people. The problems would mostly be youth-related problems. For example, in one of the episodes Jose advised men on, how to impress women, by listing the five things that they should not do in front of the girl’s.

The show's hosts were Ayushmann Khurrana and Jose Covaco. Jose joined MTV and this was the first show he worked on with MTV. Another host of the show was Ayushman Khurrana, who is a very well known Movie star. He also started his career as a radio jockey with Big FM and then went on to win MTV reality show Roadies. From there he was hired as a VJ on MTV and hosted numerous shows, gaining a large fan following. He is now an actor.
