Celebrities like actors Playing Cricket is known as Celebrity Cricket League. There are eight teams playing in this tournament. This was started in the year 2011. It is a Twenty 20 game played by several actors from the major film industries across India. The teams are Bhojpuri Dabbangs, Veer Marathi, Karnataka Bulldozers, Telugu Warriors, Chennai Rhinos, Mumbai Heroes, Kerala Strikers, and Bengal Tigers. These teams represent the Film Industries of Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Bihar & UP, Kerala, West Bengal, and Andhra Pradesh & Telangana. This Cricket league was created by Vishnu Vardhan Induri.

This Cricket League had completed six seasons till now. Chennai Rhinos became the First Champions of this Cricket League in 2011 by defeating Karnataka Bulldozers. The Second Season was started in Jan 2012 and it was won by Chennai Rhinos once again. The third Seasons was most welcomed and viewed by all. This Season started in Cochin on 19th Jan 2013. Karnataka Bulldozers was the Champions. Sachin Tendulkar announced about the Fourth Season of Celebrity Cricket League and also Introduced the Trophy On December 2013.The matches were played in several Indian cities like Kolkata, Mumbai, Cuttack, and Chennai and also in Dubai. The Fourth Seasons first match was played between Chennai Rhinos and Mumbai Heroes at Mumbai on 25th January 2014. On 23rd Feb 2014, the final of Fourth season was played between Kerala Strikers and Karnataka Bulldozers, in that Karnataka Bulldozers strikes again to become Champions. In the Third Season, Bipasha Basu and Kajal Aggarwal were appointed as Brand Ambassadors of the Celebrity Cricket League.

Dhruv Sharma of Karnataka Bulldozers is the Leading Run-Scorer in the League with 1033 runs in his Kitty and Raghu of Telugu Warriors is the League’s Highest Wicket-taker with 27 Wickets. In the Sixth Season, the team Punjab De Sher made its debut in the league replacing the team Veer Marathi.

In the previous two seasons, Telugu Warriors was hailed as the Champions.
