Tujhko Hai Salaam Zindagi (TSHZ) is a television series in India. The serial is the journey of a lead character Manya who is lively, bubbly and fun loving young girl. She grows up with passion in dance. Manya’s father, a police officer, dies on duty at her very young age. And her grandfather’s desire to live died with his son’s death. Unaware of her grandfather’s dream to see a police officer in his family, Manya continues with her passion to dance. The day when she realized her grandfather dreams, she leaves her passion behind and makes the choice to become a police officer. However, Manya’s mother was against her decision to become a police inspector as she does not want to lose her daughter as she lost her husband. To fulfill grandfather’s dreams Manya convinces her mother and joins the police training academy. At the academy she undergoes lot of difficulties and finds her way to win the highest honor at the police academy. Manya at last fulfill the dreams of her grandfather however the journey of her challenge starts from there on.
THSZ was premiered on the Sony TV on the 10th of December year 2007. THSZ was broadcasted from Monday to Thursday. Due to low viewers rating the Sony TV called off the show by ending it on the 13th of March year 2008.
1. Pariva Pranati
Pariva Pranati is an Indian television actress. She was born in Patna and her father is an Air Force Officer. She studied in Lady Shree Ram College in Delhi. She married Puneet Sachdev, an actor and wildlife photographer. Apart from TV soap operas she appeared in couple of Hindi movies like Vaada Raha, Talaash. She appeared in TV series as Susheela in Ek Doosre Se Karte Hain Pyaar Hum. She appeared in lead role as Manya in Tujhko Hai Salaam Zindagi.
2. Deepak Qazir
Deepak Qazir is an veteran actor. She appeared in the most popular Balaji’s TV series Kahani Ghar Ghar ki as Bapuji, head of Agarwal family. He appeared in another balaji’s soap opera Kasauti Zindagi Kay as Moloy Basu, father of the lead character Anurag Basu. Kis Desh Mein Hai Mera Dil as Lalit Juneja Lali, Kya Dil Mein Hai as Ghosh Babu. He appeared in a negative role in Baden Ache Lagte Hai as Raghaav Sahaay. Deepak is still leading the life of bachelor and he considers that age is not a bar to marriage. He appeared as Havaldar Vaidji, Manya's grandfather.
3. Anita Kulkarni
Anita Kulkarni is an actress and appeared in Hindi TV series and in couple of Marathi movies. She worked in Tujko Hai Salaam Zindgi in 2007 as Meenakshi, Manya’s mother and Sundari in 1997. She appeared on Sahara One in Kismat Connection. She appeared as thakurain in Betiyaan. She is currently working on Balika Vadhu aired on Colors TV as Choti Maa.
4. Meghna Malik
Meghna Malik was born on 28 October 1971 in Haryana. She is television and film actress. She graduated from National School of Drama, Delhi in 1996 and did her masters in English from Kurukshetra University. On television she became popular as Ammaji in Na Aana Is Des Laado. She appeared in many TV series like Har Ghar Kuch Kehta Hai, Radha Ki Betiyaan, Tujko Hai Sallam Zindagi as Officer Jyotsna and Kagaz Ki Kashti. She appeared as Maths teacher in Taare Zameen Par movie. She participated in Jhalak Dikhlajaa season 6 and she currently playing the role of Barkha in Gustak Dil airs on Like OK.
