Vijay Kashyap is a very talented veteran actor, who has worked in many Hindi movies and television serials. In 1984, he was seen in epic movie Gandhi, which was based on the biography of Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi. He also played Dr. Bhatt in Mahesh Bhatt’s Flimfare Award winning movie Saraansh, which released in 1984. In 1991, he worked in movie Diksha which was based on Jnanapith Dr. U. R. Anantha Murthy’s story Ghattasharddha. He played the character of Manjunath in this movie. This film won National Award for the Best Hindi Film in 1991. In 1993, he acted in Italian-French-British movie ‘Little Buddha’.
