The kind of endeavours the Indian Army puts in is incredible. Words fall short to describe their glory. Their selfless acts and hard work is the reason behind our secure borders. However, in our daily lives, we scarcely think about them. It is only in times of despair that we remember them.

As a tribute to the great fighters of Mother India, Paltan came into existence. It falls in the genre of 'action drama'. Although many real life incidents are a part of the show, its basis lies in the general perception of the soldiers in the Indian Army. The show also portrays the deep ocean of career opportunities one can find in the army. Not only this, the story writers also very swiftly touched upon the plight of war widows.
