in lead roles. Milay Sur Mera Tumhara showcases the live of two young lawyers, Om and Isha, in love.
Om and Isha is a modern day couple who are struggling through their everyday life and facing the challenges that their families and relationships presents. The story revolves around their lives. Isha comes from a close knit, joint family. Her family wishes to see her married to someone who shares similar family values and belongs to a loving, joint family like theirs. Isha wishes to marry Om and when she expresses her desire to marry Om to her family they have just one condition that the boy should come from a joint family. However, Om comes not from a joint family but is actually an orphan so to fool Isha’s family, the couple gather a bunch of people together to pose as Om’s family.
The series shows that one does not need to have blood relations with people to be a family and that a family can be formed by nurturing relations with one another.
The show’s female lead Isha is played by Spruha Joshi is also a poet and lyricist for films. After the end of Milay Sur Mera Tumhaara, she did a movie called A Paying Ghost alongside Umesh Kamat who plays the character of Om in the serial.
