The story revolves around a man named Kanhaiya and his mother whose greed turned out to be a disappointment in a round about manner. Previously it was seen in the story that Kunti Devi always desires the best for her son Kanhaiya. When the time arrives she desires that her son gets the most wonderful bride ever who has the five qualities of beauty, wisdom, romance, religious devotion and skills in the kitchen. She prays to Lord Shiva for her son and desires that her son gets a woman with all the five qualities in her. As a result Lord Shiva grants her wish but it doesn’t quite meets Kunti’s actual wish.

Instead, she gets five daughter-in-laws gradually. Kanhaiya marries five women whose character match with their names. Pari is gifted with her beauty, Panjiri has talents in the kitchen, Prarthana is a devotee, Prema is a romantic and Pratibha is an intelligent soul. However, Kunti always finds herself unable to manage so many souls with different opinions in the house. Each of the five women also have their darker side and this makes problems in the house to arise. Season two deals with Kunti’s growing greed and how Lord Shiva fulfils her wish. After the events of the first season Kunti prays to Lord Shiva and wishes for another quality in her five daughter-in-laws. Lord Shiva grants her wish. He gives a boon to each of the five women to conceive a child that would complete their qualities and make the family complete and happy.

Pratibha gives birth to Surli whose name indicates melodious, Prema has Shakti whose name means strength, Prarthana has Chanchal whose name means playful and mischievous, Pari has Budhhi whose name means intelligence and Panjiri gives birth to Dhairya whose name means patience. Having the kids completes each and every one of the five women and make them perfectly in sync with their kids and the qualities match. Kunti finds the whole situation extremely stressful which paves the way for the ultimate comedy in each and every one of the episode but she finds herself happy with the whole family. Her son Kanhaiya who had been deemed as the unlucky one in the previous season finally finds his place amongst his five wives and kids and finally gains himself a happy family with whom he can be himself around.
