Sonali Jaffar, Pawani Mehandiratta, and Fatima Rangeela are responsible for the story and the screenplay. Tanushree Das Gupta is the creative director. It traces the life of Koyal, a resident of Jamshedpur. She believes that the world consists of just two kinds of people.
The first category consists of humans who live their life for others, while the rest are living for themselves. Madhavan and Raj are her best friends. Madhavan is a hard-working and intelligent boy whereas Raj is a flirtatious juvenile and harbors a dream to become an actor. Madhavan has feelings for Koyal, but Koyal's heart beats for Raj. In a prominent function, a director rebuffs Raj and signs Koyal as his leading heroine for his next film. She is reluctant to leave Jamshedpur. Raj insults her.
She gets hurt due to his harsh words and hence she decides to shift to Mumbai and act in the movie. Raj stops her at the last moment. When Madhavan comes to know about all this, he also feels betrayed, but Raj and Koyal convince him to forgive them. Meanwhile, Koyal's family tries to fix her and her sister's marriage with Madhavan and his brother. She tells Madhavan to break the alliance by giving some reason. He does what she tells him to do. Koyal reveals to Raj that her sister is adopted which Raj shares with Madhavan's brother.
Angry, his brother breaks off their match. Koyal gets annoyed with Raj and breaks off all ties with him. But she later comes to know that all this was a lie and it was her sister's plan. She apologizes to Raj and confesses her feelings to him. He too tells her that he loves her. They both decide to get married, but her parents are unhappy as they want Madhavan as their son-in-law. They are also hiding something from everyone. What is that thing and how will it affect Koyal, Madhavan, and Raj? The serial contains all these secrets, twists, and turns.
Shritama Mukherjee, Vibhav Roy, and
Gautam Gupta play Koyal, Raj, and Madhavan respectively. Filmmaker Tigmanshu Dhulia also did a cameo in it. Over the course,
Asha Negi and
Aly Goni replaced Shritama and Vibhav respectively. It premiered on Star Plus Channel on September 28, 2015.
