The story moves around the lives of two spiritually opposite people, Kunal, played by Vishal Gandhi and Bhakti, played by Jyotsna Chandola, who are brought together by destiny but have to go through various unpleasant situations till they are together forever. Kunal belongs to the wealthy Devraj family and falls in love with his childhood love, Vishaka, played by Vrinda Dawda.
His grandmother, Bhawaani Maa, is the head of the family and a firm believer of dark energies and evil forces. She manipulates the family to carry out her evil practices and gets Kunal married to innocent Bhakti, to gain a specific motive. Kunal is the messenger of Kalka, or the Devil, and Bhakti is the epitome of goodness, sacredness, and purity. The truth is that it is in Kunal’s horoscope that whoever he marries will die. And this is why Bhawani Maa, played by Vinita Malik, wants Kunal to get married to Bhakti, who is unaware of her intentions. The plan is to do a pooja for the womb of Vishaka so that she can give birth to Kalka’s heir after Bhakti's death.
Therefore, Bhakti is used as a puppet by Bhawani Maa, and even Kunal does not know that he has negative energies residing within him. This truth is revealed during the wedding of Kunal and Bhakti. Viewers will get a great shock when they will know that Bhakti is sacrificed so that her death can give way for Kunal and Vishaka marriage. It will be intriguing to see what happens when two people with opposite and conflicting energies unite. Will good win over evil, or will the devil dominate at the end?
