Kashibai was a young girl who married Bajirao, the Maratha Empire’s Peshwa. She was a strong and independent woman who did not mind speaking her views. She was also a dedicated wife who supported Bajirao in all his pursuits.

As Peshwa’s wife, Kashibai faced numerous obstacles. She had to contend with the court’s political issues, the troubling possibility of war, and the loss of loved ones. Kashibai, on the other hand, never gave up and was always by Bajirao’s side. She must deal with Bajirao’s lover cum second wife, Mastani too. Mastani was the princess of Bundelkhand who came as a refugee in the palace but ended up loving Bajirao.

In the last episode, Bajirao reunites with his wife Kashibai and at the same time Mastani leaves the palace.
