. The story begins with Shoorveer Singh(Kamal Kapoor) who is the reigning King of Anjangadh. He is devastated after the tragic demise of his lover. His brother Digambar Singh(Subroto Mahaprata) pretends to commiserate but has secret intentions.
He is aware that his brother has hidden wealth belonging to the country in a secret location. When the grief-stricken Shoorveer gives away the location, Digambar backstabs him. He not only seizes the entire kingdoms property but murders the king in cold blood. Digambar dethrones the king and arrests his most loyal associate Mangal Singh(Pran). Shoorveer’s young son is banished from the kingdom. The poor Managal is subject to brutal torturing in the hands of the new king together with his accomplice Daku Lakhan Singh(Amrish Puri) who cuts Mangal’s right hand off. Both Digambar and his associate rule the kingdom. Many years later, Shoorveer’s son Shankar(Dharmendra Deol) is all grown up and returns.
He meets Mangal’s son Sanga(Mithun Chakraborty). They soon meet and become friends with Danny D’Souza(Danny Denzongpa). Danny is in the pursuit of Daku Lakhan Singh’s son who he believes murdered his wife. Shankar and Saga help him in his cause. Meanwhile, Daku Lakhan Singh changes his name to Suryapratap Singh and runs an army of thugs. One of his key weapons is his seven-foot giant named Django D’ Costa. His most noticeable trait not only includes his massive frame but his iron made teeth.
Suryapratap starts noticing the activities of the trio. Danny, on the other hand, is willing to help Shankar and Sanga. They soon start plotting against Digamber and will have to face Suryapratap Singh and his force before getting a shot at Digamber. The trio is determined to get revenge, but Saga secretly admires their rival Suryapratap Singh’s daughter Asha(
). As they continue their pursuit of revenge, Shankar and Danny start doubting Saga’s intention. They soon discover Saga’s affection towards Asha which complicates their mission. The relationship between the trio becomes sour but improves after Saga decides to commit. The three then continue their mission to seek revenge against their enemies and to redeem themselves.
