The serial launches on October 19, 2015, on DD National, Desh Ka Apna Channel airing on every Monday and Tuesday at 10:30 pm. The production history of the series is anonymous, consisting of one season it concludes with a brave moral for its audience. IPS Diary unravels the incidents in the life of a retired IPS officer; the cases she dealt with in her life emerge directly from her records in a diary.
