He decides to become a Sanyasi, however, Pooja convinces him not to do it. Later in the story, they get married, but due to some dosh found in Pooja’s kundalini, she and Naren cannot stay together for at least one year.

On the advice of her maternal uncle, she started behaving rudely with Naren and told him that her motive behind the marriage was to get the money. Naren is naturally hurt and becomes a misogynist. He goes to an extreme level of anger and hates everyone who is called Pooja. After one year, Pooja returns from the USA. She attempts to get Naren back, but her plans are spoiled by Rahul, who wants the couple to remain separated. One has to watch the serial to know the later developments.
