Dam Dama Dam is an Indian Comedy TV show that was premiered in 1998 on Zee TV, which was in turn inspired by Shakespeare's “Comedy of Errors”.
The actors of the serial were Shekhar Suman and Laxmikant Berde, who played double roles initially but later the story modified and also acted as the lead actor’s twin sons. So, both the lead actors (Shekhar Suman and Laxmikant Berde) played four roles each. That means the show now had four Shekhars and four Laxmikants to create more confusion and more fun to laugh and smile with their activities. This show is also considered to be Bade Miyan Chote Miyan -- Part II (An Indian movie)! The show was directed by Arun Frank. The other cast includes Neelam Sagar, Pooja Seth, Shilpa A. Singh, Bhavana Balsavar, Anant Mahadevan, Dinesh Hingoo, and Shobha Khote. Shekhar Suman was praised for his acting in the show.
The story of the show was that two brothers Sarju (Shekhar Suman) and Birju (Laxmikant Berde), who come to the city and look for some work. Things become hilarious when Chichi and Chintoo (look-alikes of Sarju and Birju, also come to the same city and confusion develops when they meet each other’s friends or relatives.
