A live Twitter chat also happened with Yuvika before the telecast of the show. It was a show for the weekend slot. In 2015 only the sources confirmed that Madhurima Tulli would play the main lead.

The sources also said that there were some issues regarding not playing the role perfectly. There also arose an issue of the amount paid to Yuvika. Finally, Madhurima as Tanya Shivalay took over the show. Yuvika played her character in the first six episodes and after that, she gets married and, her part of play stopped. Thereafter, Madhurima stepped in to play the lady inspector. The show runs on one line “ Hum Humare Guru Ke Wafadar Hai Aur Thugee Bhi Imandari Se Karte Hain”. The show ran on weekend slots (Saturday and Sunday) at 8 pm.

During the entire show, there were tricks, an officer, con man, family drama, fun, and humor. The audience loved the comic chemistry between the cop and, criminals. With a total of 26 episodes, this show finally came to an end on November 15, 2015. Life Ok has telecasted only one season of this popular show.

Dafa 420 is a gem of a comedy that cracks many jokes and yet manages to do it without knocking on any faulty doors. What the show lacks in plot, it more than makes it up with its crackling choice of actors and its masterful writing. The plot centers around two criminals (maha thugs) who have had a change of heart after serving time in prison for their crimes. They are fed up with their lives where they always have to keep an eye out for getting caught by the police. They no more can live in fear. They find Anusha, who works in Delhi branch of fictional law enforcement investigative agency called CIB, and decides to help her in solving cases with their quirky ways. So, the triplet forms a team together and help each other in tracking down criminals and putting them behind bars.

The show despite sounding like a serious show is anything but. It has many laughs out loud gags as the two criminals struggle to stay good and help the Inspector. The show has been written by Rajesh Bari in a police procedural style with a funny twist. Dafa 420 premiered on the channel on 15th August 2015, on Life OK, and was an instant favorite of the viewers.

But after the sixth episode of the first season, Yuvika Chaudhary was replaced by Madhurima as the new lead. Madhurima played Tanya Shivalay after Anusha getting married and leaving her post to Tanya who was now accompanied by the two sidekicks. Madhurima remained the leader of the show as it peaked in ratings and was renewed for two more seasons. The show had three seasons altogether and ended its marathon on the network in 2017. The show has now been bought by Disney+Hotstar and is ready for streaming.
