The story revolves around the life of two friends Chimpoo, who is a young detective, and his pet dog, Simpoo. They have a closet where they keep their detective gadgets and tools. They use their instincts and presence of minds to solve mysterious cases and nab the criminal with an ease. The running time of the show is around twenty minutes. Its only first season has only been released. This season contains fifty-two episodes. The first episode of the season was released on 10th of April 2017. Its first episode received much appreciation from the audience. There are many characters in the cartoon show, which one can relate in their day to day life.

The rest of the characters are Diya - the daughter of city commissioner. She is a pretty girl, who dances very well. She is friend of Chimpoo. She often helps him in his adventures. Police commissioner has a long mustache and a small stature. Pyaarelal- he is an inspector who wants to be promoted. He fears from criminals but before the commissioner, he shows himself to be very powerful and responsible. He is tall, thin and handsome. Our hero Chimpoo, is ten-year-old boy. He aspires to become one of the most famous detectives of the country. He solves mysteries, finds clues about the criminals and nabs them. He usually wears yellow t-shirt and blue jeans. Before going out for any adventure, he always wears a red detective coat.
