Purab or Paschim…Namastey London…and many Bollywood flicks in the past have depicted the famous topic of ‘When East Meets West’ and this serial is an extended and a funny version of the same topic. But it’s far more lovable, humorous, caring and it all revolves around love and respect that is required to be ‘adjusted’ when unlike poles meet. Bhai Bhaiya Aur Brother is about a family of 3 brothers that faces a reunion after 15 long years. All the 3 brothers have their own families now.
One is from high-five and trendy LONDON and others are DESI (from orthodox India). From there, the humorous and the cute journey of adjustment between the family members begin. The story and incidents become so lovely, that one would love to have the same situation in their lives too. This show gives a strong message that joint family concept has still got an upper hand on the nuclear family. All the characters are super cool and they have their individual problems which often show their irritation, but end up being humorous and soothing to watch.
The best part of the show is that, despite having their individual discomforts, the family members love each other and there is an all-important ‘emotional bonding’ between them. The show throws light to the much important issue that is quite missing in today’s generation ‘adjustment’. It shows how one family member can learn from the other. How adjustment can pay-off as getting you in a comfortable and respectable position in your family and even in the society. The show is light-hearted comedy with a strong message that will make us have a ‘cheese smile’ on our face and a happy heart.
