The show is about a man named Bobby.  92-year-old Dadaji is Bobby's Grandfather, who battled alongside Bapu during the freedom fight for India. Bobby is a hopeful individual conflicted between the obligations towards his family and his fantasy about carrying on with life. The Gandhian inheritance of 'Dadaji' is conveyed forward by Puppy Beechwaale (Bobby's more youthful sibling ) and his current spouse, Sheetal Beechwaale. Rita and Raju being the other characters.
Bobby Beechwale is played by Zakir Hussain. Bobby's 70-year old dad is Mithilesh Chaturvedi and 92-year old Dadaji is Jagdish Kawal.
