Fauzia Batool has four siblings, an elder brother, an elder sister, a younger brother and a sister. Her elder sister Nazia is married and her husband ill-treats her always. Fauzia suggests her sister not to allow this as her husband would always treat her as a slave. Fauzia’s elder brother is Rahim and he is married to Asma. Fauzia is her father’s pet. Her mother always scolds Fauzia for her rebellious actions. Asma has a brother Sajid, who wants to marry Fauzia. But, Asma is against his wish. However, she suggests Fauzia’s parents get Fauzia married to Sajid. But, Fauzia rejected the proposal, as she feels Sajid is lazy and could not pursue her dreams if she gets married to him. Later, she loves Abid, who is a Dubai-return Cosmetic Shop owner. However, Fauzia’s parents fix her marriage with Sajid. But, she elopes with Abid and gets him married. After some time, Abid loses his interest in Fauzia and has an illegal affair with Ruby, even though he has a kid with Fauzia. When Fauzia comes to know about this, he maltreats her and finally divorces her. However, Abid holds the custody of his son with Fauzia. Then, she gets a job and starts earning money. After some years, her son hates her due to the false information spread by his father. What happens to Fauzia? Will she console his son and join him? The rest of the story deals with it.

At the 17th Lux Style Awards, the series won the Best Television Play Award. Saba won the Best Actress Award. She also received the Best Actress Award at the 2nd International Pakistan Prestige Awards. Ali Kazmi won the Best Actor in a Supporting Role Award.
