In the month of February 2016, Colors Channel had telecasted on-air promos where the viewers are asked to vote for their favorites. The viewers are invited to participate in the polling of votes online for categories such as best show, best actor, best actress, best-rising star(best debut), favorite child artist and liked Jodi. The polls started from February 14 th, 2016 and closed on 29 th February 2016. Viewers who had the interest to cast their vote for ‘Golden Petal Award-2016’ were requested to log on to the Colors channel website and participate by using Twitter, Gmail or Yahoo IDs.
Only viewers residing in India, USA, UK, Europe, Middle East including UAE had been involved in the voting mechanism. The winners of ‘Golden Petal Awards’ will be announced soon.
