English Tv Show Supernatural Season 5

Supernatural is an exceptionally famous American TV show which first aired on September 13, 2005, on the WB channel. It is one of the longest running fantasy shows on TV with a total of 12 seasons under its name. The fifth season of this very popular franchise starts with the after effects of the last seal being broken. Sam and Dean are seen fighting off the angels and demons while trying to restore peace in the world and avoid the apocalypse. Their main goal is to stop Lucifer and bring peace to the world by saving the earth from the apocalypse.

As the season proceeds, we get to know that Dean and Sam are the chosen vessels for Archangel Michael and Lucifer respectively. They find out ways by which they can kill Lucifer and discover a method. They think that by retiring the very famous colt from Crowley (demon), they can kill Lucifer with it. Unfortunately, their plan backfires and ends up killing their two friends Ellen and Jo. They go through a lot of problems and hurdles throughout the season by denying their permission to be Lucifer and Michaels' vessels.

They realize that they can prison Lucifer again if they collect the rings of the four horsemen of the apocalypse. Their want for the restoration of peace keeps on increasing with time. With the brothers realizing that even through all the mayhem and struggles they love and care for each other, and can sacrifice their life for each other. The angel Castiel, played by Misha Collins, is seen as a regular from this season. Throughout the season one can see his and Dean’s friendship strengthening. On the other hand, Sam and Dean start getting distant as Dean can't trust him after he killed Lilith in the last season.

By the end of this season, Sam agrees to become the vessel of Lucifer, and after being possessed he ends up killing bobby and Castiel. He thankfully regains his control and jumps into the cage with Adam who had been possessed by Michael to trap and imprison Lucifer. Castiel and Bobby are resurrected, and Castiel goes to heaven to restore peace. The season ends with Dean returning to his previous lover Lisa and her son Ben, and living a normal life with them while Sam watches them from a distance having dinner together. The first and last episode of Supernatural aired on September 10, 2009, and May 13, 2010, respectively.
