When it comes to crime shows, the suspense, the way they find the criminal and all of that real action in between definitely win people’s heart and it keeps them stay connected to the show. Gotham is one such American crime drama. It is developed by Bruno Heller and also appeared in the Spiderman. It is aired on Fox Channel. The first episode was telecasted on 22nd September’ 2014, and the last one was telecasted on 25th April’2019.

The amazing star cast has made the show more likable amongst the audience. It stars Ben McKenzie as Jim Gordon and David Mazouz as Bruce Wayne. Initially, the story revolved around Jim Gordan’s days in the Gotham City Police Department but later, they also added a new character Bruce Wayne. Along with that different Batman villains like Penguin, Scarecrow, Joker, Riddler, etc. were also included in the show. The medium of the show is English. The running time of the show is 42-49 minutes. The entire show was released in five seasons. The last season has 12 episodes in total. The story is about the crimes taking place in Gotham City.

Jim Gordan who along with the detective, Harvey Bullock, solves these crime mysteries in the city. And during this, the underworld is also emerging in the town especially after the murder of the billionaire family of Thomas Wayne and his wife, Martha. Their son under the care of Alfred Pennyworth, their butler. The first season revolves around solving this murder mystery. Similarly, all the other seasons are based on the crime drama and the detectives solving the entire crime scene and finding the criminal. The last season ends with Jim Gordan becoming Gotham’s dark knight. This interesting crime show has gone through many ups and downs. From taking a peak in the starting, it also faced negative feedback from the audience in between. But in later seasons, it again bumped back as one of the series that is highly liked by the audience.
