and Erica Gimpel in the lead roles. It is a comedy-drama show about a staunch atheist named Miles Finer, receiving a Facebook friend request from an account named God. On the advice of this account, Miles makes new friends in hometown New York City.
The account tells him that these people will require his assistance in the near future. Miles is obviously doubtful about this advice, but he sets out to make these people his friends. He is asked to befriend a doctor who has lost a patient and his girlfriend is about to leave him. He follows up on his second suggestion. He meets Cara, a magazine writer who hasn’t found her big – break yet. Miles teams up with Cara and his friend Rakesh, who has some hacking skills, to find out who is operating the Facebook account. Miles, however, doesn’t stop helping the people suggested by this account. Miles' atheism causes frequent quarrels with his father, Morton. His father serves as a Pastor at a church in Harlem. The shooting of the show had to be suspended due to Covid-19 pandemic and it was cancelled after the second season.
