Charmed, as the name suggests is a supernatural serial with three sisters who are charmed with magic powers. Basically, they are witches. This serial is telecast on the CW channel. It is about discovering your destiny and following your legacy. The story starts with two sisters having a perfectly normal life. But one day they find their mother dead. She just broke the window and fell from her room down on the floor. It looks like it was a suicide, but an invisible force just pulled her towards the window and forced her to crack open the window and fall down. The manner how their mother died is not known to the sisters. And also the fact that they are witches id unknown to them.

Now as soon as their mother dies, the appearance of a third sister shocks the sisters. She introduces her as their mother’s daughter. Overcome with emotional distress, the sisters come to school as usual. But strange things start happening. They can read people’s minds and move things around with their minds. They can stop time if they are too emotionally charged. This surprises and confuses them. But the three get kidnapped before they can figure anything. The person who has kidnapped them becomes the savior and guide they had needed. He tells them all about their powers and about the journal their mum kept which had everything in detail. He tells them that they are ‘The Trio.’

This empowers them to find about who killed their mum. They learn to control their powers and use them to their advantage. The second season brings a new concept. Now the sisters want to live a normal life and do nothing extraordinary. But they are attacked by some evil forces. A man comes to warn them that there is a war going out there and people are coming to get them. This creeps them out but still, they manage to remain together and defeat the evil forces. Their mother always said that ‘nothing is stronger than your sisters’. This serial teaches you how alone you fall and together you stand. It teaches the sisters that as long as they are together their weaknesses become their strengths, but if they fight alone their weaknesses would be used against them. It is a truly magical serial.
