Making fun of her while vacuuming the floor carpet, tweeting their landscape shot and making it for over two million hits, and asking awardees to contribute for the delivery of pizza. The entire event focused on the memoriam and extraordinary actors who brought films to life.
 
The movie “12 Years A Slave” won Best Picture, a story of free born black man that was tricked, kidnapped and sold for slavery, Matthew McConaughey for Best Actor and Jared Leto for Best Supporting Actor for the movie “Dallas Buyers Club.” This is a biographical story of an AIDS victim treats his illness by smuggling unapproved drugs and distribute it with other patients. Robin Matthews and Adruitha Lee won Best Makeup. Cate Blanchett made a stunning acceptance with her evening gown Best Actress for the movie “Blue Jasmine,” Lupita Nyong O made a great impact in her speech for Best Supporting Actress award mentioning that our dreams were all valid no matter what. The movie “Gravity”, story of Dr. Ryan Stone that was entangled by the wreckage of a Russian satellite and travels using MMU to dock in to two different space stations, almost committed suicide but finally made her way back to Earth using ample amount of courage.  This movie took most of the awards starting with Alfonso Cuaron bagged the Best Director, Best Cinematography for Emmanuel Lubezki, Best Visual Effects brought home by Timothy Webber and his group, Mark Sanger and Alfonso Cuaron took Best Film Editing, Best Original Music Score by Steven Price, Best Sound Editing by Glenn Freemantle, Best Sound Mixing fell to Niv Adiri and Skip Lievsay, Christopher Benstead and Chris Munro took home Best Sound Mixing for the same movie.
 
In addition, Paolo Sorrentino received Best Foreign Language Film, Best Original Song was given to “Let It Go” and “Frozen” took home Best Animated Feature Film. For the movie “The Great Gatsby,” Beverly Dunn and Catherine Martin took Best Production Design and Best Costume Design. Spike Jonze took Best Original Screenplay for the movie “Her,” John Ridley brought home Best Writing Adapted Screenplay, “Twenty Feet from Stardom” took Best Documentary Feature. Best Animated Short Film given to Laurent Witz for the movie, Anders Walter took Best Live Action Short Film and “The Lady In Number 6” took Best Documentary Short Subject.
 
Pharrell Williams made a jumpstart performance using flash mob dance Happy, U2 made a standing ovation after their performance, and Pink made equal contribution in the highlights by singing Over the Rainbow and the rest of the performers.
