Krishna (Mitali Nag) aspires to become a Block Development Officer (BDO). Although their family is financially weak, her father, Vidyapati Raj, wholeheartedly supports her dreams, unlike her mother and brother. Moreover, her father’s brother and his wife want their daughter Pinky (ShivShakti Sachdev) to become a BDO.

They are comparatively wealthy and resort to bribery and other illegal activities to make it possible. Pinky and her mother often mock Krishna for her dark complexion and lower status. Vidyapati Raj work for Tun Tun Singh, an affluent landlord. This man later vows to destroy Krishna’s life due to a twisted incident. However, his younger son Pintu Singh (Kinshuk Mahajan), is highly impressed by her perseverance and bravery. Pinky and her family later colluded with Tun Tun Singh to frequently create hurdles for Krishna on her way to the post of BDO. Krishna’a arduous journey to achieve her ultimate goal, never giving up, is the central theme of this simple but motivational series.
