Japani Doll is a Bengali comedy-drama web series that premiered on the OTT platform Hoichoi. It currently has two seasons. The story is about a Kolkata-based guy named Joy who has failed in his career a number of times. He makes peace with the fact that he is not made for the professional sector. So he opens up his own business. That to a unique one. His business idea is to open a brand new and very first sex toy shop. Nobody has ever thought of this business idea in his town, making him the first person with this idea. In a conservative society, he wants to open a public sex toy shop, and the highlight of his shop is a Japani doll which he has brought to help the lonely people of Kolkata.
