The how was initially telecasted at 6 pm on Star Jalsha and then was shifted to the 5:30 pm slot. Brahma’s son Dakshya is the greatest Prajapati on the earth. Jalandhar, the Asura King, attacks Dakshya’s kingdom. King Dakshya couldn’t stop the Asur Raj, and hence, the entire world prays to Lord Shiva to save the earth. So, the Lord saves the world by punishing Jalandhar. But, Daskhsya doesn’t want Shiva’s dominance. So, Brahma prays to Devi Mahamaya to solve this issue. Mahamaya takes another birth as Sati, Dakshya’s daughter. Dakshya sees his daughter growing as an ardent devotee of Shiva. So, he imprisons her. Shiva magically rescues Sati from Dakshya. Angered Dakshya shows his anger on Shiva devotees and throws them out of his Kingdom. Shiva rescues all of them and provides them a place to dwell. Once, Durvasa Maharishi visits Dakshya’s Kingdom. After seeing Sati’s devotion, he blesses her that she would be Shiva’s wife one day. Will this go well with Dakshya? What did he do? What happened to Sati? The rest of the story deals with Shiva’s actions.
