Meghe Dhaka Tara is a female-centric Bengali drama series aired on Sun Bangla from 28th March 2022. This is the official Bengali remake of a popular Tamil serial named Kayal. Actress Pritha Chatterjee is playing the lead role in the serial portraying Brinda, a selfless, independent, and hard-working woman, whose whole life revolves around her family. Disowned by her father, and dealing with an alcoholic brother Brinda are the only breadwinner and sole provider of her family. She toils around and selflessly sacrifices everything to meet the needs of her siblings and tries her best to make them happy. She works as an honest and dedicated nurse. She finds her happiness in making her family happy. Unfortunately, her act is neither recognized nor appreciated.
