Asha Lata is a Bengali drama-romance TV show telecasted on Sun Bangla that premiered on 3 February 2019 and ended on 25 August 2019. The show is also available on MX Player. This show is about two sisters, Asha and Lata, who have very different personalities, but they share their love for music. They had grown up in a musical family, and the love of music runs in their blood.
There is a lot of sibling rivalry when a man named Dhruba enters their lives and they fight for his affection. Their rivalry intensifies to get the man of their dreams before the other sister. Asha is a modern, carefree girl, while Lata is more traditional. Their father, Rabi, is a music maestro with many traditional values. Dhruba's father wants him to take over the family business and not pursue music.
