Boidehi is an Indian family drama series in Assamese, aired on Rang TV. It is the story of a lower-caste, happy-go-lucky medical student who believes in smiling and having fun. She falls in love with an upper caste man, Raj Pratim Borthakur, and marries him against his family's wishes. The groom's family never accepted his marriage to a lower-caste woman. The couple started living in a rented house separately. Later, the family conspired to call them back. Raj Pratim and his wife gave birth to a baby. After that, the family starts showing their true colors and tortures the daughter-in-law mentally. The series follows how the protagonist overcame the difficulties of her life and came out as a strong woman, encompasses the family drama in this series.
