Balighar is an Assamese romantic drama TV serial that aired on Rengoni TV. It is a hardships-filled love story of Basu and Samvabi. Samvabi is the main character of the show who falls in love with Basu. Her parents are against their relationship, so Samvabi decides to marry Basu without the approval of her parents. Because of this step, she has not been in touch with her parents for a long time. For three years, they have been living together in their wholesome married life. They love each other dearly are living happy life. One day Basu gets a call and has to rush to Guwahati to meet his sick father. Basu’s life is not easy because he is hiding the truth from everyone around him, especially his wife. He has been suffering from cancer for a long time, and now the doctor has given him a maximum of one more year to live. Side by side, he is dealing with a lot of other things in life.
