Andha Oru Nimidam is a Tamil television show. The show is made in the crime thriller genre. The plot or story of the show is very interesting and has enough masala in it to send chills down the spine of the viewers. It revolves around a murder that has been committed by a businessman. Raghav is a private sector employee and leads a very normal life. He does not have a very happening life and is living a monotonous life. He is single and hence have no responsibilities to run the house or look after the children. One day, he meets a girl named Kaveri and gets attracted to her.

After a few conversations, he realizes that he have developed some feelings for her. Later, he gets to know about her family and her background. Her father worked at a factory. However, the family was dependent on her for their survival. The owner of the factory murders his rival at the factory site. Kaveri's father watches the entire scene and runs away from the factory in panic. However, the owner sees him running and the next day very cleverly puts the blame of the murder on him. He fails to prove his innocence in the court and is sentenced imprisonment.

Some days later, he escapes the jail to take revenge and reaches the owner's home. Raghav and Kaveri also gets to know about this and reaches there. What they see there is Kaveri's father is being murdered by the factory owner. The couple is left distressed with this, especially Kaveri and she finds it difficult to accept the fact that her father is dead. Raghav supports her, and they both lodges a complaint against the owner. In court, every lawyer refuses to manage and fight their case as the owner was very influential.

Later, Raghav decides to fight their case himself and reaches the court on an important day. In court, he fails to prove that the owner is guilty, and he is released from the custody. He also uses his power to influence the decision of the court. He threatens Raghav to kill him as well as his lover for dragging him to the court. But, he continues to fight against him and starts his own investigation against him to find more proofs to prove him guilty. The show revolves around this concept, and many thrilling and suspense twists are brought in the serial.

The show was originally aired in the month of September in the year 2015. It was liked by a lot of people and gained popularity after its initial release. It is broadcasted on Vijay network and has raised the standards and set bars with the release.
