This show was adapted from the British show ‘The Office’ by Greg Daniels, who is a well-known writer. This show had been produced by Deedle- Dee Productions and Reveille Productions. Jay Ferguson had composed the theme music for this show. This show depicts the day to day life of employees of Dunder Muffin paper supply company in Scranton, Pennsylvania.

In this show, we can come across the various types of people, whom we can find in our everyday life. Andy Bernard returns from Outward Bound managers training. The Scranton branch of Dunder Muffin company hires two new employees named Clark and Pete which creates a problem for Jim Halpert. Later Pam and Jim Halpert visit Ray Anderson’s wedding, where they find a way to take their relation to another step. Andy discovers that he is related to Michelle Obama. To impress Andy’s family, Dwight teaches Erin the Dothraki language from Game of Thrones series. Jim tells Pam that he wants to move to Philadelphia. He tells Dwight that the building may face problems due to radiation and this makes Dwight rent a bus to set up an office in it.

Jim and Pam have some sweet moments together. Dwight gets a new task of selling papers to a woman named Jan Levinson. The woman in the office teaches him how to deal with Women. Angela feels insecure and thinks that her husband Robert, is having an affair with Oscar and seeks Dwight’s help. Due to busy work, all the employees forget to plan about annual Christmas party, Dwight suggests celebrating Schrute German Christmas. Jim moves to Philadelphia in fulfilling his dream of joining in Sports company, and later Pam along with Darryl also go to Philadelphia to interview for Jim’s new job. This makes Pam feels sad that their family might be leaving Scranton. Dunder Muffin’s CEO David Wallace insists Dwight of finding a part-time replacement for him.

Andy decides to become an actor and quits his job at Dunder Muffin’s. The season ends with Dwight being promoted to the regional manager of the company. Later Jim returns from Philadelphia for the sake of his family and joins Dunder Muffin back again as an assistant regional manager.
