Each episode follows a different story of the three families – Jay’s, Phil’s, and Mitchell’s. This new concept of the characters talking to the camera went down well with the audiences which led to it garnering high ratings throughout. In essence, it is a differently themed sitcom where there is no background laughter. It is witty with a lot of room for content. It's hilarious, amusing and intelligent.
