There is always a specialty about American TV series and reality shows. They have a different and unique format and stand out different from the shows of other countries. People all around the globe follow these programs, and they are highly popular. Bar Rescue is one of the most exciting television reality show that got launched on July 17, 2011. It is currently even running as one of the most successful reality show in the American television history. Bar Rescue was directed by Neal Gallagher, and was narrated by P.J King. It is a semi-reality show which has its roots from the Unites States of America. It has aired five seasons to date with around 135 episodes in total.

Each episode ranges from 40-45 minutes. The star of the show is “Jon Taffer” who is a professional expert and leading consultant in the sector of hospitality. He has excellent knowledge related to food, beverages, restaurants, food shops, and bars. The show was entirely based on his skills. In the show, Jon Taffer visits to those who have very less chances of sustenance, and helps them figure out their problems and suggests their remedies. Taffer goes to those bars which don’t have any hopes that they are going to last in the market, deeply analyses their situation and does the required changes. It is a long process that he takes up as a challenge.

The first step includes a group of people from the locality or Taffer’s team visit the bar which is to be reconstructed. They consume the food and beverages of that particular place to assess the quality of the things they serve. The close analysis and assessment is recorded with hidden cameras with the owner’s consent. These recorded clips are viewed by Taffer ,and he takes the required steps. Jon Taffer then shows himself to the owners and the staffs, and tells them about his investigation, and suggests the necessary changes. He suggests improvements in the management, the exteriors, and interiors of the bars, if necessary. He even suggests to fire or remove inefficient workers from the restaurant.

Taffer’s crew suggests better methods to the bar workers for better preparation of food and drinks. They suggest new ideas to them so that food, and beverages can be delicious and time- saving. After the initial phase of changes, Taffer conducts a ‘stress test’ to measure the performance and development of the workers. After the test, the second round of extensive and elaborate training is done to help the bar sustain and make a profit out of its business. Some bars may have complete re- construction and some get better with little efforts. Taffer has saved a lot of bars till date. The Bar Rescue show was produced by ‘James Agiesta’ and ‘Jason Garnett’. It had been launched on Spike TV Network. It is continuing even today as one of the greatest American reality shows.
