That 70’s Show is one of the flagship shows of Fox channel. The beginning of the show features “In the Street.” In seasons 1-7, the show features the cast members driving in Eric’s car and singing the theme song. Consisting of 8 seasons and 200 episodes, it bagged the title of the second-longest running sitcom. The whole show focuses on Eric Forman and his group of teenage friends growing up in Wisconsin. They face what all teenagers of that age face: attitudes, joys, sorrows. Together, they experience the happiness and sadness every teenager faces. That also becomes one of their most memorable periods in their lives. The whole show has the air of living in the 70’s, mostly shot in Eric’s basement where he and his friends hang out. Eric Foreman is the head of the group with girlfriend Donna.

The rest of the group includes Fez, Jackie Burkhart, Michael Kelso and Steven Hyde. Fez is a foreign exchange student delving into American culture. Michael Kelso is Fez’s boyfriend, and Steven is a conspiracy theorist. The whole gang spends a lot of time talking about their lives, goals, parents, etc. Eric is a socially awkward person, and he has a huge crush on his next door neighbor, Donna Pinciotti. He then takes out his father’s car after explicitly being told not to. He succeeds in his attempt to impress Donna, and it leads to their first kiss. The major part of the show focuses on their relationship. They are often the “parents” of the group because they are sensible of the lot. And when she attains a job as a disc jockey, Eric starts feeling inferior to her, leading to many fights among them.

Donna also starts seeking advice from their friend Hyde whenever insecurity about their relationship seeps through her. Hyde initially had a crush on her, and if she and Eric weren’t together, he confesses he would have tried to hit on her. At the end of season 3, in the final episode “The Promise Ring,” they break up because Donna’s job was becoming her top most priority and Eric had started to feel insecure. According to Donna, this is the right decision because she is only following her goals. And whenever Eric’s attempt to find a new girlfriend backfires, he is mocked by Donna. During the fourth season, Donna enters a relationship of her own with Casey Kelso, someone who’s against Donna’s dream boy checklist.

Refusing to listen to Eric, who tells her exactly the kind of man Casey is, she continues her relationship. Casey then, later on, dumps her for another girl and Donna, heartbroken to have been so overconfident, pleads with Eric to resume their relationship. When Eric does not agree, she leaves Point and stays with her parents, Bob and Midge to sort out her feelings. Their relationship again resumes when he comes to California looking for her, and they get engaged, despite widespread discouragement from the rest of the group. This comedy also reveals some important points in family-themed episodes. A mixture of experiences of a teenage group makes this show worth a watch.
